I am a student and thus I usually have too much month at the end of my money.  BeautyHooked Logo from beautyhooked.com And to make that money stretch out, I am always, ALWAYS on the look out for good deals. I came across BeautyHooked earlier this year and checked it out, it had all the A-list mehengoolay salons on it and I scoured the deals to find something which would fit my pocket but I found nothing that I could afford.  So two weeks ago, after my mom mistook my hair for the jharoo, I decided I  really  needed a haircut. I crossed my fingers and went to look at deals on BeautyHooked again. Just awein, in case something came up.  I went to the deals page and pressed crtl+f and wrote down the MOST I wanted to pay which was PKR 1,500. I have to say I found some pretty great deals. The one I chose was from Depilex DHA called Pumpkin Spice. The white girl inside me was squealing.  That being said, I wish the website gave you an option to list the deals in terms of pricing.

There are a lot of things in society we blindly accept without question. Most of these things might even be harming us yet we still take part in them in the name of 'culture'. One such societal norm is dowry. The concept of dowry entails a bride to bring with her a truck load of items for her new home. Furniture, appliances, cars or sometimes even a home! The more your bride brings the more your relatives burn with envy, I hear. Sounds like a great deal, doesn't it? Get a wife AND a ton of stuff for free! What a bargain. But let's look at it from the bride and her family's perspective. Exercise our almost never used muscle of empathy. Remember empathy? That little thing that makes us human.
